Drake Takes The Stage In Indianapolis And Brings Out _____________

Drake

Drake put on a show for the city of Indianapolis and had the fans going crazy over his special guest. Most of you are probably thinking Nicki Minaj but that would be a little to obvious…

Little White Chocolate Justin Bieber came out on stage with Drizzy Drake during his performance for “Best I Ever Had”. Now, you’re probably thinking what in the hell do these two have in common??? Trust we were thinking the same thing and the answer is “Canada”. The fact that they are from the same country Drake refers to Justin as his little brother. Wonder how long it will be before Justin and Drake do a jawn together???

Breezy & Usher Hit The Jamaican Stage

Usher took the stage at Sumfest in Montego Bay, Jamaica this weekend.  And he brought Chris Breezy on stage with him to do a surprise performance.  And Elephant Man was there too.

More pics of Ursh, Breezy, and Breezy’s capris when you read on…

<!–break–>

The fellas all had a dance off on stage much to the audience’s delight.  Can we just discuss Breezy’s pants for a minute.  I usually don’t comment on Chris’ choice of clothing because it never really bothers me and usually it can be seen as just fashion forward.  BUT…

These damn capris I can NOT get with.  I know it might be what’s "it" these days for men and all, but I beg to differ.  Fellas, spare us.  Pick one–shorts or pants.  You cannot do both.

Fun times in Jamaica.

On a random note, Lisa Left Eye Lopes‘ sister Reigndrop was at B.B.Kings last night with Mr. Cheeks watching Fox Boogie perform:

Interesting.

Drake Kisses a Fan During Concert

Drake, constantly proving his manhood, pulled a fan up on stage to give her the full experience of “Last Name Ever, First Name Greatest”. Instead of making the mistake of getting it in with a minor, Drake made sure his fan was of age. He dayyumm near kissed her everywhere you could imagine except for a couple of places like where the sun don’t shine…

Pop the Top for a Peek

Practice makes perfect. This little dude has probably been working on his _______________ game with Nicki Minaj

VIDEO: ALICIA KEYS FALLS ON STAGE DURING ESSENCE PERFORMANCE

Singer Alicia Keys fell on stage during her Essence Music Festival set on Saturday night (July 3). Even though she recovered quickly, the pregnant star should be more careful while performing (we all saw the BET AWARDS). Check put the video above.

UH OH! Alicia Keys Takes A Tumble On Essence Fest Stage, Gets Scathing Review

Alicia Keys didn’t take the stage until after 12:30am last night at New Orleans’ Essence Festival.  Almost an hour after her original time to go on, it sounds like the timing just didn’t work in her favor.  Many folks walked out before her set was over, and others said her performance was mediocre.

We’ve got video (of a video) of the pregnant Ms. Keys taking a slightly scary tumble on stage.  And a writer blasted her for her diva antics before she went on.

<!–break–>

Check the video of the video.  We’ll post better footage when it’s available.  She continued on with her performance so hopefully everything was all good.

But a writer for New Orleans’ paper the Times Picayune pretty much let Alicia and her diva antics have it this morning.  They wrote:

Keys is only four months or so along in her pregnancy, but she is apparently sensitive about her appearance. Before her Saturday night headlining set at Essence Fest, her representatives forbade professional photographers from shooting her. (The ban had no effect on the dozens of fans snapping photos.)

Newsflash, Alicia: We all know you’re pregnant. And you have no reason to be self-conscious, not when you flatter four-inch heels, tight leather pants and a functional yet snazzy black top with green sequins.

Keys returned to the Superdome with a .500 average. She fell flat at Essence in 2002, then redeemed herself in 2005. Early on Saturday, she flirted with a repeat of ’02. That year, she looked as if she expected adoration simply for showing up; her look-at-me dabbling on multiple instruments failed to impress an audience well-schooled in R&B authenticity.

She dabbled some this year, too, at one point squaring off with a guitarist armed with a key-tar guitar/keyboard combo. She seemed slightly winded after “You Don’t Know My Name,” and guzzled water often. In ’02, the curtain dropped before she performed “Fallin’,” her breakthrough. This year, she got it out of the way early, but it failed to catch fire to match the flames filling the video backdrop.

The “Essence exit” began. Folks streamed into the aisles, figuring they were better off beating traffic than staying with a set that started 50 minutes late and didn’t seem to be going anywhere fast.

……………….

A double-time bass drum drove the final “No One.” Keys disappeared after barely 70 minutes on stage. Clearly it’s better to quit while you’re ahead.

Well damn!  I skipped out on last night’s performances after such a crazy ass day.  But, I will say I was less than impressed at her performance at the Verizon Center in D.C. a couple months ago, so this review is pretty on the money.

Tonight’s performances are the fabulous Jill Scott, Earth Wind & Fire, Mary J. Blige, and others.  See y’all there!
