BREAKING NEWS: Floyd Mayweather Arrested For Stealing From Baby Momma!? + What Does Lil Wayne Look Like NOW?

Floyd Mayweather Jr. was arrested in Las Vegas for grand larceny.  Authorities are claiming he took personal items from the home of Josie Harris, his baby momma without her permission.  Read on for the deets plus see a recently released photo of Lil Wayne on Rikers Island…

The YBF told you earlier, that police were called to the home of Josie Harris around 5 AM yesterday after she claimed Mayweather had attacked her and threatened to kill her.

According to docs obtained by TMZ, Josie Harris went to court yesterday and filed for a restraining order against Mayweather saying he came into her Las Vegas home Thursday morning and awoke her by, "pulling me by my hair and throwing me on the ground in my living room and began punching me in my head."

And it gets worse….according to Harris.  In the court docs, Harris claims Floyd dragged her on the floor and attempted to break her arm.  He then proceeded to hit her in front of the former couple’s three children while threatening them not to call the police.   Harris says Mayweather also threatened to hurt her boyfriend.

So where does the grand larceny come in?  Well Harris says Mayweather had been at the house two hours before the alleged attack, yelling at her about her new boyfriend.  She then called the police who escorted Floyd out of the home.

But Harris says Mayweather re-entered the home through her son’s side bedroom door, and that’s when the alleged attack occured.  THEN….the Las Vegas Review-Journal, reported that Mayweather was arrested and booked for grand larceny related to the domestic incident. According to the report, Mayweather allegedly took personal items from Harris’ house after the incident.  He was booked and held on ,000 bail. 

This story is still developing and we will keep you up to speed.  But interesting that after a professional boxer tries to break your arm and beats you in front of your three children the police only book him for grand larceny. SMH

Kelly Rowland rocked this Jen Kao Spring 2010 fitted gray & nude dress on the front row of the Jen Kao Spring 2011 show last night.  She paired her dress with gray strappy booties.

But her bestie Lala Vazquez rocked the exact same dress back in May at her hubby Carmelo Anthony‘s birthday party.  And La rocked it with black pumps and a metallic clutch.  So…

MOVIE FAB: Aretha Franklin Building A-List Cast For Her Biopic…With Halle Berry As Young Aretha?

Aretha Franklin is planning the cast for her upcoming bio flick based on her New York Times Best-Selling Autobiography Aretha: From These Roots, and she is going after the biggest names in Black Hollywood.  See who she wants when you go inside…

The Queen of Soul has been quietly meeting with top black actors and actresses, including Denzel Washington and Terrence Howard, for roles in the film based on her.  The Queen tells the BV Newswire, "These actors are enthusiastic about the project and have agreed to take on these roles subject to further negotiation."

Academy Award-winning actress Halle Berry is the top pick to play a young Aretha.  And Denzel Washington, a Detroit native, says he’s open to playing the role of Franklin’s father, Rev. C.L. Franklin. ‘Law and Order: Los Angeles’ star and Oscar-nominated Terrence Howard agreed in-person to portray Smokey Robinson. Nia Long is being asked to play Aretha’s sister Erma Frankin and Blair Underwood wanted for the role of brother and long-time manager Cecil Franklin.  And last but certainly not least, A-List gospel singers Karen Clark Sheard and LaShun Pace have been asked to play the world-renowned gospel group, the Ward Singers, whom Aretha says most influenced her  career.

Truly a diva, she didn’t name anyone who wasn’t Black Hollywood’s A-list.  This movie should be fab with such a great cast.  I wonder if Halle plans to gain weight for the role if she also plays "older" Aretha.  Or will the Queen be like Natalie Cole and play herself.  We will see.

So Now Gloria Govan DENIES Domestic Dispute?

After the ish hit the fan yesterday with "Basketball Wife" Gloria Govan and her on-again-off-again fiance Matt Barnes, Gloria’s now denying Matt harmed her.

Now Gloria is denying that her "fiance" (so they’re still engaged after calling off the wedding a little while ago?) Matt Barnes harmed her in any way. 

“Any accusation of domestic violence are false,” Govan said in a statement issued Thursday by the couple’s publicist Laura M. Wright. “My fiancé, Matt Barnes, has never physically abused me or my family.”

Ummmm, really?  So a phone call just happened to be made from the house you two share, and the cops just voluntarily came out and made up the report that they saw "visible injuries" on "the girlfriend"?  I mean, unless Matt has another "girlfriend" living up in his house, I fail to see any truth in Gloria’s "statement."

 

Sounds like they’re just both embarrased that their "perfect couple" bubble got publicly busted.  However, claiming one thing while the police report claims another, is just odd.  But hey, if they like it, we love it.  Moving on….

Too Soon? Fantasia Caught Crackin’ Jokes About Suicide Attempt + Amar’e Stoudemire – A Ladies Magnet?

In the September 14 issue of Page Six Magazine, Amar’e Stoudemire, talks about what its like being a single man in New York City.  

"Women are definitely bold and come up and talk to me. They want to associate themselves with me. It’s not a bad thing being single."

And when you are 6-foot-10, known to make a reported 0 million with the New York Knicks and you look good in a suit…I can only imagine that Stoudemire ‘s options are limitless.  And rumor has it that Vogue editor Anna Wintour is after Stoudemire for an upcoming cover.  I’m sure this would be right up Stoudemire’s alley as he says he loves fashion.

"I love fashion . . . I love watches. I love shoes. I make sure that every time I step out of the house I’m feeling comfortable and fashion forward. Depending on the occasion, I dress the part."

Celebs Get FAB For New York Fashion Week!

It’s that time again.  When the celebs’ clothes change more than the leaves, you know it’s New York Fashion Week.  We’ve got pics of celebs kicking off the week at the brand new Fashion Week site–The Lincoln Center.

Kelly Rowland and model Jessica White hit the Jen Kao Spring 2011 fashion show yesterday. Both ladies rocked sexy looks and looked fab as usual.

The Chanel boutique in Soho had its re-opening last night.  And new mom and dad Paula Patton and Robin Thicke came out to help Karl Lagerfield and co. celebrate:

Paula’s looking incredible post-baby.  I just hope we get to see their newbie soon…

Over at the Richie Rich show last night, Ice-T and Coco were spotted looking their usual.

In a series of tweets yesterday, rapper 50 Cent revealed that he spoke to Floyd Mayweather Jr.  just hours before Josie Harris called 911 claiming that Mayweather assaulted her.

50 Cent says he spoke with Mayweather both before and after the alleged incident and Mayweather wasn’t upset either time.  He also says that Harris lives in a guesthouse on Mayweather’s Las Vegas estate with an unnamed girlfriend whom they both feel is starting up mess between Harris and Mayweather. 

"She’s claiming he hit her but has no bruises," 50 Cent said.  "Floyd went to see his kids last night if a fighter of floyd caliber hits u, u would b bruised."

50 continued,

"He said he asked her why was the house so dirty she started trippin.  He bought nice clothes for his kids they were all over the place.His baby moma said shes not gonna force them to wear clothes they dont want. I told him that’s crazy. I know how he felt. I met her before so I told him she would calm down. Can’t believe she called the cops. Floyd said he feels like her girlfriend is using her and pushing her in the wrong direction."

Las Vegas authorities are still looking to "talk" to Mayweather about the incident.

In an interview that is as outrageous and it is sad, Gregory King, the father of Julian King, the nephew of Jennifer Hudson who died in the Hudson family tragedy, actually accuses Jennifer Hudson of being a free mason and sacrificing his son for her career and success.  Yes….you read that right.  Oh….and then he promotes his new rap album.  Be offended when you go inside….
