Singer/songwriter Keri Hilson and celebrity jewelry designer Melody Ehsani heads out of the VIP area at the New Orleans Superdome to attend some Essence Music Festival Festivities this past weekend in Louisiana.
The star, who is currently working on her sophomore effort, performed on the main stage and also attended some after parties. Check out our exclusive pics.

Yesterday we reported that the Athletic Director of University of Georgia was caught creepin big time. He’s since resigned:
Damon Evans has resigned as Georgia’s athletic director less than a week after he was arrested on a DUI charge. School president Michael Adams made the announcement Monday following a conference call with the executive committee of the athletic association’s board of directors.
Adams says he’ll have no further comment until Tuesday.Evans was arrested late Wednesday in Atlanta. He was charged with DUI and failure to maintain a lane. Also arrested with him was Courtney Fuhrmann, who was charged with disorderly conduct.
Evans became the Southeastern Conference’s first black athletic director in 2004. There was no immediate word on a replacement.
All we can say is SMH.

The talented Ne-Yo spent the Holiday weekend in L.A. working. He shot his "Champagne Life" and "Beautiful Monster" videos, as well as his album photo shoot. Columbus Short (far right) is starring in one of his vids. Ne-Yo’s been working extra hard on his Libra Scale album as he says it’s super personal and he wrote each song on it.

His baby’s mother Monyetta was on the set too, and we’re told the two are happier than ever.
The videos will be a continuation of each other as the entire album is a story that Ne-Yo wrote himself. He also wrote and co-directed the videos.
He got his Tyler Perry on and also wrote a movie called Libra Scale. And the videos are a part of that movies’ vision. Nice.

BOSSIP sources spotted Taraji P. Henson on a high end shopping spree yesterday and she wasn’t alone. Pop the hood to find out who she was with
Taraji spent her July 4th in Toronto with none other than Drake!!! The cozy pair was spotted coupled up shopping for several hours.
She’s at least fifteen years older than him, but clearly he has a thing for her. Did you see how he was acting after the BET Awards?
Just sayin’
This is definitely a big step up from that Maliah chick… We think he should cast Taraji as his love interest for the “Fancy” video.
